Our Exciting Opportunity!
Head of Strategy and Solutions. Mobile Financial Services role is responsible to deliver Ericsson Wallet Platform solutions with a focus on continuous revenue growth, Operational stability, and Security. The role is part of the DS CU MFS Leadership Team.
You will
- Understand customer vision and MFS/Mobile Money Strategy
- Evaluate Ericsson EWP strategy Vis a Vis customer strategic plans
- Secure Ericsson involvement in crafting MFS visions, requirements and translate into Ericsson capabilities
- Secure sales delivery readiness and build EWP solutions to meet customer requirements
- Understanding of FinTech market space along with competitors’ landscape.
- Provides feedback to EWP R&D
- Identifies and translated MFS business opportunities into sales
- Build and be accountable for Mobile Money solution in coordination with customer and Business Area
- Consult customers in the Mobile Money technology area
- Support Business Analysts in countries across MMEA
- Provide input towards the Business Area strategic product manager to support the EWP roadmap.
- Perform regular analysis based on business performance of markets
- Participate in technical escalations
- Own technical management governance with customer
- Close cooperation with Design Unit
- Work closely with customers to build a solution based on the received demands and requirements documentation
- Organize Requirement gathering workshop to ensure all business requirements are captured as input towards Quick study execution by respective R&D organizations.
To be successful in the role you must have
- Minimum Experience in Fintech/Mobile Money or EWP 10+ years
- Wallet or payment solutions Architecture and design 5+ years
- Previous BSS or adjacent areas’ experience required
- Change Management and Transformation skills
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team performance
- Result oriented with customer first attitude
- Formulating Strategies & Concepts
- Entrepreneurial & Commercial Thinking
- Persuading & Influencing
- Delivering Results & Meeting Customer Expectations
- Can handle stressful and ambiguous situations
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Communication skills in written and spoken French will be
- Self-motivated with strong drive and initiative, collaborative, relating, and networking
- Track record as a leader and the ability to work independently preferably with a well-established contact network
- Outgoing personality that finds it easy to cooperate and establish relationships across organizational boundaries and in a global environment
- Good at handling resource planning and competence development
- University degree in Technology or Economics, preferably MSC, MBA, or equivalent
