For a mission in one of our client on a major industrial project, Wise Lab and Energia are looking for a Project Cost Tracker.
Responsibilities
- Work according to the client processes, use company tools, and behave in accordance with the client Business Code of Ethic
- Establish and communicate processes and routines required for effective control and reporting during the project lifecycle to all team members
- Follow up & report all project’s cost commitments, related to logistics and operations In Country Operations Management & Project Management
- Ensure all requests to any logistics sub-contractors/providers are always done via work orders and sent prior executions
- Ensure all costs are tracked and registered on a daily manner. Cost tracker will have to build a strong relation with suppliers and teams onsite to have accurate figures
- « Cost saving » oriented, able to challenge suppliers
- Monitor and follow with finance dept, payments to suppliers. Track and work to avoid any overdue payments to suppliers
Experience and Qualifications
- Upper education certificate in relevant field (ideally in Cost Management, Finance)
- Significant experience of establishing and performing Cost Control on various types and size of projects (5-8 years at least)
- Experience on site/on ground, in direct contact with log ist ics stakeholders
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and accurate reporting, both written and verbal
- Accounting skills
- Experience in SAP is an advantage
- Strong Excel knowledge
- Able to work under pressure
- Must be fluent in English (oral and written)
- Knowledge of Logistics and shipping
- Knowledge of Health, Safety & Quality
- Experience in supply chain, procurement
Available ASAP: Position to be filled in September the 1st
Working location : Dakar
One year contract, potential permanent contract at the end
