Job Description

One of our oil & gas have been in touch and they are in need of a client representative for support of the caisson installation. The caissons are essentially big concrete structures which are lined up on top of a rock berm to create a sea barrier.
They need to get the first few lined up accurately over the rock dump and aligned correctly so that the subsequent ones can be pulled in line.

Mob would be via Dakar on 8th of June where there’s a week hotel quarantine prior to joining the vessel on the 15th.
They want someone offshore for the first three caissons, but their installation is extremely weather sensitive.
This could be a 2-week trip if the weather is good, but could extend to 4 weeks pending weather, so demob could be as late as ~13th July.
The job itself is quite unusual, so they are not expecting anyone with specific caisson installation experience, but they need someone comfortable independently calculating positions offshore in real time – probably someone used to rig moves.
