Internship Details

Internship Title: Research Intern (Operational Support)

Department: Operational Support

Location : Dakar, Senegal

Duration : 4-months

Purpose of internship

AKADEMIYA2063 is seeking an Intern to join its Department of Operational Support in Dakar, Senegal to support some research activities including quantitative analysis using econometrics tools and literature review. This 4-month internship position is an opportunity for a young graduate to acquire relevant experience in agricultural policy analysis and evidence generation. The selected candidate will work closely with a senior scientist leading the modeling activities.

Qualifications and skills

• Master or higher degree in econometrics, statistics, economics, or agricultural economics.
• Very good command of Stata, R and Excel.
• Strong modelling and programming skills.
