Faced with the challenges that never cease to stand before us (immigration problems, climate change, pollution, waste management problems, youth unemployment, the situation of girls and women but also health crises), the NGO Cause Première would like to make an effective and lasting contribution to finding equitable solutions that beset humanity.

To do this, Cause Première is launching this vast campaign to recruit unpaid interns initially in order to build a multicultural, dynamic, united and competent team. The final objective of recruitments will be to build a team of employees once the funding has been obtained. Also the work will be fundamentally based on fundraising in order to finance our actions but also to give permanent employment to interns who would like to work within the NGO.

Program and Development Manager

A program manager’s job description focuses on developing a program’s objectives and strategy and assessing how it will impact our organization. For each program, he will define and oversee the projects needed to reach their targeted goals.

Cause Première is an african (from Senegal) development non-profit organization. Our mission is to create long-lasting, positive and community-led change that improves the lives and livelihoods of vulnerable people across africa by beginning to fight all actions against the destruction of our Environement, by encouraging organic agriculture in Senegal and Africa.

For Cause Première, to have good health, we should eat good food and live in a healthy and unpolluted environment.Also to have peaceliving we should have integrated youth (fighting illegal migration)and to empower women.

Cause Première is seeking a Program Development Manager to build its new team of Development and Technical Services at the headquarters in belfort, Ziguinchor/SENEGAL. The program Development Manager search funds, identifies and leads new opportunities, coordinates with programs staff, and represents Cause Première to donors, partners and other external stakeholders. our most urgent and important expectations are the drafting of projects and programs and the research and obtaining of funding

Primary job responsibilties include:

1. Write projects proposal
2. Monitors and coordinates all program development efforts in assigned region.
3. Identifies and analyzes new actions for the population
4. Identify funding opportunities.
5. Creates program development budgets and justifications. Monitors and reports on status of budgets.
6. Coordinates regularly with field staff and other departments engaged in program development in assigned region.
7. Ensure that tracking database is kept up to date for all ongoing program development in assigned region.
8. Identifies, leads and supports new traditional and non-traditional program opportunities. Manages proposal process start to finish, ensuring Cause Première and donor standards and requirements are met.
9. Analyzes opportunities and makes recommendations on potential program strategies.
10. Participates on proposal teams in assigned role, whether leading the proposal team or serving in another role.
11. Identifies needs on the proposal team and defines roles of each team member, ensuring an appropriate level of support.
12. Develops and articulates strategic approaches, partnerships, management/staffing plans, M&E, budgets, and project designs.
13. Develops and defines partnership arrangements as related to specific proposals.
14. Ensures all actions are completed at the end of a proposal development process.
15. Builds regional-focused relationships with representatives of potential donors (traditional and non-traditional) and strategic partners.
16. Identifies new partners, subawardees/subcontractors, and/or donors to enhance Cause Première’ capabilities and expand our programming.
17. Stays abreast of funding priorities of Cause Première’ major donors.
18. Build and coordinate with field staff’s a lovely relationship building with non-traditional donors and partners..
19. Communicates regularly with field’s staff as well as other departments on ongoing actions efforts, specific support needs and field staff capacity building requirements.
20. Represents Cause Première at meetings, conferences, and workshops.
21. Undertakes all other duties and projects as may be assigned from time to time.
