Guiding Principles

Reporting & Dynamics

• Reporting to : Workshop Team Leader ; Maintenance Manager ; Service Coordinator ; Workshop Team Leader ; Mechanic.

Basic Responsibility
To assist the mechanics with the maintenance, servicing, installation and repair of all hydraulic,
pneumatic and mechanical aspects on equipment. Perform housekeeping duties and ensure
work area and tooling is clean at all time.

Accountability & Responsibility

• Scope of Accountability : Assist and support the mechanics with the repair and servicing of equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Keep all Tooling equipment signed out to the Mechanics in excellent condition and where
  necessary, ensure it is regularly serviced ;
• Proactively conduct self-development by challenging yourself, on the job knowledge and by
  participating in company educational opportunities and programs (Online and offline training)
  as well as reading technical publications offered on the equipment and parts ;
• Ensure correct PPE is worn both in the workshop and when in the field. Correct attire is the first impression we give to a customer and a mandatory safety requirement ;
• Perform housekeeping duties and ensure work area is clean at all time ;
• Compliance with all SHEQ requirements under the company’s Policy ;
• Maintain all company vehicles ensuring they are kept clean ;
• After hours and standby duties may be required ;
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time ;
• Maintain all company vehicles ensuring they are kept clean.

Key Performance Indicators

• Return On Investment (ROI) of Engineering and Service Activities (Achieved v/s Planned) ;
• Customer satisfaction ;
• Timely Completion of Equipment repairs and tasks.

Required Profile

• Experience : General understanding of the workshop practices ;
• Technical Competencies : Semi-skilled artisan ;
• Fluency in languages: French & English.
• Other Requirements : Travel; Working Conditions, etc…)
• Mobile (may be required to visit clients).
