- Compensation: Gross salary + benefits: 8,854,341 CFA to 14,166,945 CFA/annum.
The United States Peace Corps in Senegal seeks a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Thies Training Center Financial Assistant (TTC FA) position is based in Thies and reports directly to the Thies Training Center Manager (TCM). The TTC/FA will be responsible for providing financial support to the Training Manager and Training team, and all communication with the Administrative Unit in Dakar on all TTC based personnel and financial issues.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field, with a minimum of two years performing progressively responsible work in technical.
Interested candidates must have the following qualifications:
Education: Diploma in accounting, finance or related field is required. University degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience performing progressively responsible work in technical/clerical accounting or bookkeeping is required.
- One year performing cashiering work at the next lower level in a U.S. agency, or the equivalent is preferred.
- Experience taking inventory is preferred.
Languages: An intermediate English level (B1 or Level 3) is required. – candidates will be tested.
Computer skills: Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and working on a computer network – candidates will be tested.
