Instrumentation Technician CDI

We are looking for an experienced Senegalese Offshore Instrumentation Technician for our Client. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring the proper functionning of automated manufacturing equipment.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Ensure good quality of maintenance operations;
- Garantee a good level of availability of the equipment;
- Perform routine inspections, calibrations, repairs and replacements of instrumentation and control devices (sensors, transmitters, control valves, analysers);
- Identify and resolve instrumentation issues, faults and malfunctions;
- Analyse process data, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions to restore system functionality.
- Monitor the performance of control systems: distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), safety instrumented systems (SIS) ;
- Maintain & update control system software, firmware and datebases;
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for instrumentation and control systems
- Follow maintenance schedules, conduct routine inspections, carry out preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and integrity of the equipment;
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities (equipment status, work performed, spare parts usage);
- Prepare reports and provide technical documentation for management review, maintenance planning, and compliance purposes.
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications:
- Higher National Diploma or certificate (Bac + 3) or BTS / DUT or equivalent;
- 1 to 3 years experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations;
- Basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations;
- Technical skills in the instrumentation equipment: F&G, Analysers, ICSS, PLC, DCS, PSV Control device (PT, TT, LT, RTD, Radars, process alarm & shutdown systems;
- Experience using CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo…), Office Suite, etc.;
- Ability to maintain good relations, pride of his work, show organisational ability;
- Physical ability to work on offshore installations (climatic conditions, rotanional work, transportation by marine vessels or helicopter, etc.);
- English: Fluent as it is the working language.
