HVAC Technician CDI

We are looking for an experienced Senegalese HVAC Technician for our Client. The incumbent will play a key role in the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and equipment.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment;
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment;
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems;
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems and performing warranty services;
- Performing emergency repairs promptly & efficiently;
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions;
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health & Safety Act;
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, including chillers, gas and electrically operated airconditioning equipment, make necessary adjustments or repairs;
- Maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration systems (compressors, condensers, evaporators, etc.);
- Perform refrigerant charging, leak detection and system adjustments.
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications:
- Higher National Diploma or certificates (Bac + 3) BTS / DUT or equivalent;
- 1 to 3 years experience in the maintenance field on oil & gas production installations;
- Basic knowledge of the process of oil & gas treatment, installations;
- Technical skills in HVAC equipments and systems (utilities & L/Q equipments);
- Reading technical diagram and drawings;
- Experience using CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo…), Office Suite, etc.;
- Show common sens, organisational ability, pride of his work, ability to maintain good relations;
- Physical ability to work on offshore installations (climatic conditions, rotational work, transportation by marine vessels or helicopter, etc.);
- English: Fluent as it is the working language.
