We are looking for experienced Senegalese Offshore Electrical Technician for our Client. The incumbent plays a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Ensures good quality of maintenance electrical operations;
- Guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment ;
- Assembles, evaluates, tests and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances and apparatus;
- Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning equipment, appliances and apparatus;
- Performs routine inspections, maintenance and repairs of electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, lighting and control systems;
- Identifies and resolves electrical issues, malfuntions and faults
- Monitors and maintains the power generation and distribution systems on the regular inspections, test and maintenance tasks;
- Constructs and fabricates parts;
- Reads and interprets electrical and electronic circuit, diagrams and schematics.
Experience /Requirements / Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma or certificate (Bac +3) or BTS/DUT or equivalent;
- 1 to 3 years experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations;
- Basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations;
- Technical skills : generators, transformers & distribution systems, UPS & batteries, motors & compressors, heaters, electrical components;
- Experience using CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo…), Office Suite, etc.;
- Show common sense, organisational ability, pride of his work, maintain good relations, hability to motivate multi-national teams;
- Physical ability to work on offshore installations (climatic conditions on site);
- English : Fluent as it is the working language
